Terms of Service

1. What Cancely is

Cancely is a tool for keeping track of your recurring payments: it lists the subscriptions you add or import, totals them in one currency, shows upcoming renewals, sends reminders, and points you to each provider’s cancellation steps.

Cancely does not connect to your bank, does not make or stop payments, and does not cancel anything on your behalf. Cancelling a subscription is always done by you, with the provider. Cancely is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with any service listed in it.

2. Your account

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

4. Plans and payment

Free is free forever and tracks up to 10 subscriptions. Pro adds unlimited subscriptions, Gmail auto-detect, CSV import, and Telegram and browser-push reminders. Family gives Pro to up to 6 people, each with their own account, and lets them share chosen subscriptions with each other. Every new account gets 14 days of Pro without a card; afterwards it moves to Free unless you upgrade. Nothing you’ve added is deleted when that happens. Current prices are shown on our home page and at checkout.

Payments are processed by our reseller Creem (Armitage Labs OÜ, Estonia), which is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: Creem takes the payment, charges any VAT or sales tax that applies, and sends the receipt.

5. Your content

The subscriptions, notes and receipts you put into Cancely stay yours. You give us only the permission needed to store and process them to run the service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export everything or delete your account at any time from Settings.

6. Third-party connections

Sign-in with Google and Gmail auto-detect use your Google account and are also subject to Google’s terms. Connecting Gmail is optional, read-only, and can be disconnected at any time.

7. Information in the app

Catalogue prices, price-change notices, cancellation links and guides, and exchange rates are provided in good faith as a starting point. Providers change their prices and processes, and ECB rates are published once per working day, so they may be out of date. Always check the amount and terms with the provider — Cancely’s figures are not financial advice, and reminders may occasionally be late or fail to arrive.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep Cancely available and your data safe, but we provide it “as is” and can’t promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve, change or remove features. If we ever shut Cancely down, we’ll give at least 30 days’ notice so you can export your data, and refund any unused prepaid Pro time.

9. Ending the agreement

You can stop at any time by deleting your account in Settings. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, after warning you where possible; if we close a paid account without such a breach, we’ll refund the unused part of the period.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for intent, gross negligence, or death or personal injury, or your statutory rights as a consumer. Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for charges a provider makes to you — for example a renewal you didn’t cancel in time — and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or €50 if that is higher.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For changes that matter, we’ll email you at least 30 days before they take effect; continuing to use Cancely after that means you accept them. If you don’t, you can delete your account and ask for a refund of unused prepaid Pro time.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Serbia, and its courts hear any dispute. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in and may bring a claim there.
