How to cancel Tinder

Where you cancel Tinder Plus, Gold or Platinum depends on where you bought it. Deleting the app or your account doesn't stop the payments.

Checked in October 2026 against Tinder’s own help pages. Tinder typically costs about €19.99 a month (€239.88 a year).

Cancel on the web

Bought on tinder.com or in the Android app by card or PayPal (order numbers starting TNDR): sign in on tinder.com, open your profile → Manage Payment Account → Cancel Subscription.
Bought through Google Play (order numbers starting GPA) or the iPhone app: cancel in the store — see below.

Subscribed in the app?

If you signed up inside the Tinder app on your phone, Apple or Google bills you, and only they can cancel it.

On an iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)

Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
Tap Subscriptions.
Tap Tinder, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.

Not listed there? Apple doesn’t bill you for it — use the steps above. If it’s listed under Expired, it’s already cancelled.

On Android (billed by Google Play)

Open the Play Store and tap your profile picture.
Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
Tap Tinder, then Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts.

Deleting the app on either phone does not cancel anything.

What happens after you cancel

The subscription renews automatically until cancelled; features stay until the paid period ends.

Refunds

Store purchases are refunded by Apple or Google. Card and PayPal purchases go through Tinder's refund form, sent from the email address used to buy.

Watch out for

Switched phones between iPhone and Android? Subscriptions don't move — cancel on the old platform too.
Uninstalling the app doesn't cancel anything.

Make sure the charge really stops

Track Tinder in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
