How to cancel Blinkist

Blinkist bought on the website is cancelled by turning off auto-renewal in Settings. A first purchase can be refunded within 14 days.

Cancel on the web

Sign in on blinkist.com and open Settings.
Under Danger Zone select Turn off auto-renewal and confirm.
Bought in the app? Cancel in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions.

Subscribed in the app?

If you signed up inside the Blinkist app on your phone, Apple or Google bills you, and only they can cancel it.

On an iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)

Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
Tap Subscriptions.
Tap Blinkist, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.

Not listed there? Apple doesn’t bill you for it — use the steps above. If it’s listed under Expired, it’s already cancelled.

On Android (billed by Google Play)

Open the Play Store and tap your profile picture.
Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
Tap Blinkist, then Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts.

Deleting the app on either phone does not cancel anything.

What happens after you cancel

The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current subscription cycle; you keep access until then.

Refunds

Email Blinkist support within 14 days of your first purchase and it cancels and refunds. Renewals aren't covered, and App Store refunds are Apple's decision.

Watch out for

Cancel at least 24 hours before the billing period ends.

Make sure the charge really stops

Track Blinkist in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
