How to cancel BookBeat
BookBeat is cancelled on its website under Manage Subscription, by 23:59 CET the day before renewal. Cancelling a free trial ends access immediately.
Checked in October 2026 against BookBeat’s own help pages. BookBeat typically costs about €12.99 a month (€155.88 a year).
Cancel on the web
- Sign in on bookbeat.com and open the account menu.
- Select Manage Subscription and go through every cancellation step.
- Wait for the confirmation email — no email means the cancellation didn't go through.
What happens after you cancel
On a paid subscription you can use your remaining hours until the paid period ends. Your books and bookmarks are kept if you come back.
Watch out for
- Miss the 23:59 CET deadline the day before renewal and the next 30-day period is charged.
- Ending the main subscription also ends every extra family profile.
- There's no pause — cancel and reactivate later instead. Accounts inactive for 24 months are deleted.
Make sure the charge really stops
Track BookBeat in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
