How to cancel Brilliant
Brilliant Premium bought on the web is cancelled in Subscription Settings → Manage subscription. App Store and Google Play subscriptions are cancelled in the store.
Checked in October 2026 against Brilliant’s own help pages. Brilliant typically costs about €24.99 a month (€299.88 a year).
Cancel on the web
- Sign in on brilliant.org and open Subscription Settings.
- Select Manage subscription and cancel.
- Eligible for a refund? A Request a refund button appears there.
Subscribed in the app?
If you signed up inside the Brilliant app on your phone, Apple or Google bills you, and only they can cancel it.
On an iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)
- Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap Brilliant, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.
Not listed there? Apple doesn’t bill you for it — use the steps above. If it’s listed under Expired, it’s already cancelled.
On Android (billed by Google Play)
- Open the Play Store and tap your profile picture.
- Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Tap Brilliant, then Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts.
Deleting the app on either phone does not cancel anything.
What happens after you cancel
Cancelling stops future charges; you keep Premium until the end of the billing period. Requesting a refund instead ends Premium immediately and refunds the latest charge.
Refunds
Only where the Request a refund button appears, or as the law requires; otherwise refunds are a courtesy at Brilliant's discretion. App store purchases are refunded by Apple or Google.

Make sure the charge really stops
Track Brilliant in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
