How to cancel Canva Pro

Checked in October 2026 against Canva Pro’s own help pages. Canva Pro typically costs about €11.99 a month (€143.88 a year).

Cancel on the web

  1. Sign in on canva.com and open Settings → Billing.
  2. On your Canva Pro plan, select Cancel plan.
  3. Go past the offer to pause and confirm.

Subscribed in the app?

If you signed up inside the Canva Pro app on your phone, Apple or Google bills you, and only they can cancel it.

On an iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)

  1. Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
  2. Tap Subscriptions.
  3. Tap Canva Pro, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.

Not listed there? Apple doesn’t bill you for it — use the steps above. If it’s listed under Expired, it’s already cancelled.

On Android (billed by Google Play)

  1. Open the Play Store and tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
  3. Tap Canva Pro, then Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts.

Deleting the app on either phone does not cancel anything.

What happens after you cancel

Pro features last until the end of the current billing period, then the account becomes Canva Free with all your designs.

Watch out for

  • Pro elements used in your designs show watermarks on the free plan; download finished work first.
  • Bought through the App Store or Google Play? It can't be cancelled in Canva — use the store.
  • Cancelling isn't deleting: deleting the account removes every design for good.

Cheaper than cancelling?

  • Pause the plan for up to three months.

Make sure the charge really stops

Track Canva Pro in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
