How to cancel Codecademy Plus

Codecademy Plus or Pro is cancelled in Account Settings → Payment and plan, before the next billing date. Codecademy doesn't refund subscriptions.

Checked in October 2026 against Codecademy Plus’s own help pages. Codecademy Plus typically costs about €34.99 a month (€419.88 a year).

Cancel on the web

Sign in on codecademy.com and open Account Settings → Payment and plan.
Choose to end your subscription and follow the prompts (monthly plans are offered a pause first).

What happens after you cancel

You keep your paid access until the end of the billing cycle; the subscription then ends by itself.

Refunds

No full or prorated refunds for subscriptions. You can ask Customer Support for an exception via Contact Us.

Watch out for

Cancel before the next billing date to avoid the charge.

Cheaper than cancelling?

Monthly plans can be paused instead; annual plans can't.

Make sure the charge really stops

Track Codecademy Plus in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
