Cancel on the web
- Sign in to your HBR account and cancel from your Account page.
- Or contact Customer Care: customerservice@harvardbusiness.org, 800-988-0886 in the US and Canada or 617-783-7500 internationally.
- Subscribed through Apple or Google? Cancel with that provider.
Subscribed in the app?
If you signed up inside the Harvard Business Review app on your phone, Apple or Google bills you, and only they can cancel it.
On an iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)
- Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap Harvard Business Review, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.
Not listed there? Apple doesn’t bill you for it — use the steps above. If it’s listed under Expired, it’s already cancelled.
On Android (billed by Google Play)
- Open the Play Store and tap your profile picture.
- Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Tap Harvard Business Review, then Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts.
Deleting the app on either phone does not cancel anything.
What happens after you cancel
If you cancel without a refund you keep access through the end of the paid period.
Refunds
Payments are generally non-refundable and cancelling doesn't refund the unused part of the term. EU and UK residents can withdraw within 14 days of buying a digital subscription; Quebec residents may get a prorated refund.
Watch out for
- Cancel before the current term ends to avoid being charged for the next one.
- A group subscription is cancelled by its purchaser through Customer Care.
Make sure the charge really stops
Track Harvard Business Review in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
