How to cancel Hinge+

Hinge+ and HingeX are cancelled where you paid: in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions, or in the Hinge app (gear icon) if Hinge billed you directly.

Checked in October 2026 against Hinge+’s own help pages. Hinge+ typically costs about €24.99 a month (€299.88 a year).

Cancel on the web

iPhone: open your App Store subscriptions → Hinge → Cancel Subscription.
Android: Google Play subscriptions → Hinge → Cancel Subscription.
Paid Hinge directly: in the app, tap the gear icon → Cancel Subscription (no app? use the Stripe link from your receipt).

Subscribed in the app?

If you signed up inside the Hinge+ app on your phone, Apple or Google bills you, and only they can cancel it.

On an iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)

Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
Tap Subscriptions.
Tap Hinge+, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.

Not listed there? Apple doesn’t bill you for it — use the steps above. If it’s listed under Expired, it’s already cancelled.

On Android (billed by Google Play)

Open the Play Store and tap your profile picture.
Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
Tap Hinge+, then Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts.

Deleting the app on either phone does not cancel anything.

What happens after you cancel

You keep the subscription until the current term ends; it then doesn't renew.

Refunds

Hinge can't refund App Store purchases — Apple handles those. For Hinge or Google Play payments, refund requests go to Hinge in writing.

Watch out for

Cancel at least 24 hours before the next billing period.
Deleting the app doesn't cancel an App Store subscription; deleting your Hinge account ends a directly billed one immediately.
Switching from HingeX to Hinge+? Cancel HingeX first.

Make sure the charge really stops

Track Hinge+ in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
