How to cancel Kobo Plus
Kobo Plus is cancelled on kobo.com under My Account → My Subscriptions, or in the Kobo Android app. It can't be managed on a Kobo eReader or in the iOS app.
Checked in October 2026 against Kobo Plus’s own help pages. Kobo Plus typically costs about €9.99 a month (€119.88 a year).
Cancel on the web
- Sign in on kobo.com and open My Account → My Subscriptions.
- Select Cancel this subscription, then Yes, cancel subscription.
- Or in the Android app: Menu → Settings → Kobo Plus Subscription.
- Bought through Bol.com? Cancel on Bol.com.
Billed by someone else — Bol.com? Cancel in that account, or ask them: Kobo Plus can’t end a subscription it doesn’t bill.
What happens after you cancel
Kobo Plus books become unavailable once the subscription ends — check your account for the exact date.
Watch out for
- Audiobook subscription credits stay in your account for six months after cancelling and aren't refundable.
Make sure the charge really stops
Track Kobo Plus in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
