How to cancel Memrise Pro

Memrise Pro bought on the web is cancelled in Settings → Account on the website, or through the Chargebee link there. App Store and Google Play subscriptions are cancelled there.

Checked in October 2026 against Memrise Pro’s own help pages. Memrise Pro typically costs about €8.49 a month (€101.88 a year).

Cancel on the web

Log in on the Memrise website in a browser and open Settings → Account.
Cancel the auto-renewal — or, on newer purchases, use the link to manage your subscription with Chargebee.
iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Memrise → Cancel Subscription. Android: Play Store → Subscriptions → Memrise → Cancel.

Subscribed in the app?

If you signed up inside the Memrise Pro app on your phone, Apple or Google bills you, and only they can cancel it.

On an iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)

Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
Tap Subscriptions.
Tap Memrise Pro, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.

Not listed there? Apple doesn’t bill you for it — use the steps above. If it’s listed under Expired, it’s already cancelled.

On Android (billed by Google Play)

Open the Play Store and tap your profile picture.
Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
Tap Memrise Pro, then Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts.

Deleting the app on either phone does not cancel anything.

What happens after you cancel

Pro features stay until the end of the current subscription period.

Refunds

Apple purchases are refunded only by Apple.

Watch out for

Deleting your account doesn't cancel the subscription — cancel the renewal first.
A lifetime plan is a one-off purchase, so there's nothing to cancel.

Make sure the charge really stops

Track Memrise Pro in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
