How to cancel Meta Verified

Meta Verified bought from Meta is cancelled on Facebook or Instagram from a computer — not on mobile. Bought through Apple or Google, cancel there.

Checked in October 2026 against Meta Verified’s own help pages. Meta Verified typically costs about €14.99 a month (€179.88 a year).

Cancel on the web

On a computer, open Meta Verified in your Facebook or Instagram settings and cancel the subscription.
Subscribed through Apple or Google? Cancel in that store with the same account you paid with.
Only want one profile unverified? Update your subscribed profiles instead.

Subscribed in the app?

If you signed up inside the Meta Verified app on your phone, Apple or Google bills you, and only they can cancel it.

On an iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)

Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
Tap Subscriptions.
Tap Meta Verified, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.

Not listed there? Apple doesn’t bill you for it — use the steps above. If it’s listed under Expired, it’s already cancelled.

On Android (billed by Google Play)

Open the Play Store and tap your profile picture.
Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
Tap Meta Verified, then Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts.

Deleting the app on either phone does not cancel anything.

What happens after you cancel

The subscription stays active until the end of the billing cycle.

Refunds

No credits or partial refunds for cancelled subscriptions, except in specific cases such as a revoked subscription.

Watch out for

Cancel at least 24 hours before the next payment.
Deleting the app or signing out doesn't cancel it.
Cancelling the benefits instead removes the badge right away — with no refund for the unused time.

Make sure the charge really stops

Track Meta Verified in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
