How to cancel PressReader

PressReader has no cancel button: you switch to Pay As You Go under My Account → Subscription → Change/Upgrade Subscription.

Checked in October 2026 against PressReader’s own help pages. PressReader typically costs about €29.99 a month (€359.88 a year).

Cancel on the web

Log in at pressreader.com and open My Account.
On the Subscription tab choose Change/Upgrade Subscription.
Select Pay As You Go — that ends a paid or trial plan.

What happens after you cancel

Moving to Pay As You Go forfeits the remaining days of the current month. To keep those days, ask the Customer Care team at pressreader.com/care.

Refunds

A pro-rata refund may be given in some circumstances, at PressReader's sole discretion.

Watch out for

Can't find the option? Contact Customer Care.
On a trial, switch to Pay As You Go before it ends or ask Care to cancel.

Make sure the charge really stops

Track PressReader in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
