How to cancel Readly
Readly bought on its website is cancelled in your account under subscriptions and payments. App Store, Google Play, Amazon and partner subscriptions are cancelled there.
Checked in October 2026 against Readly’s own help pages. Readly typically costs about €11.99 a month (€143.88 a year).
Cancel on the web
- Sign in on readly.com and open My account → Subscriptions & payments.
- Choose cancel and finish the steps; a confirmation email follows.
- iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Readly. Android: Google Play → Subscriptions → Readly → Manage.
Subscribed in the app?
If you signed up inside the Readly app on your phone, Apple or Google bills you, and only they can cancel it.
On an iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)
- Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap Readly, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.
Not listed there? Apple doesn’t bill you for it — use the steps above. If it’s listed under Expired, it’s already cancelled.
On Android (billed by Google Play)
- Open the Play Store and tap your profile picture.
- Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Tap Readly, then Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts.
Deleting the app on either phone does not cancel anything.
Billed by someone else — Amazon and other partners? Cancel in that account, or ask them: Readly can’t end a subscription it doesn’t bill.
What happens after you cancel
You should get a confirmation email once you finish; keep it as proof of the cancellation.
Watch out for
- A free trial turns into a monthly subscription unless you cancel before it ends.
- Bought through a partner? Cancel on the partner's site, not Readly's.
Make sure the charge really stops
Track Readly in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
