How to cancel Reddit Premium

Reddit Premium paid by card or PayPal is cancelled in the Reddit Premium section of Account Settings on reddit.com, at least 24 hours before it renews.

Checked in October 2026 against Reddit Premium’s own help pages. Reddit Premium typically costs about €5.99 a month (€71.88 a year).

Cancel on the web

Paid by card or PayPal: on reddit.com open Account Settings → Reddit Premium and cancel.
Paid with your Apple ID: cancel in your Apple subscriptions.
Paid through Google Play: cancel in Google Play's Subscriptions.

Subscribed in the app?

If you signed up inside the Reddit Premium app on your phone, Apple or Google bills you, and only they can cancel it.

On an iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)

Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
Tap Subscriptions.
Tap Reddit Premium, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.

Not listed there? Apple doesn’t bill you for it — use the steps above. If it’s listed under Expired, it’s already cancelled.

On Android (billed by Google Play)

Open the Play Store and tap your profile picture.
Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
Tap Reddit Premium, then Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts.

Deleting the app on either phone does not cancel anything.

Billed by someone else — PayPal? Cancel in that account, or ask them: Reddit Premium can’t end a subscription it doesn’t bill.

What happens after you cancel

Premium lasts until the end of the period you've paid for.

Refunds

No partial refunds.

Watch out for

Cancel at least 24 hours before the subscription ends.
Deleting your account doesn't cancel Premium — cancel first.

Make sure the charge really stops

Track Reddit Premium in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
