How to cancel Skillshare
Skillshare is cancelled in Account settings → Membership & Payments if you joined on skillshare.com; app subscriptions are cancelled with Apple or Google.
Checked in October 2026 against Skillshare’s own help pages. Skillshare typically costs about €168 a year.
Cancel on the web
- Sign in on skillshare.com and open Account settings.
- Go to Membership & Payments and select Cancel membership.
- Joined in the app? Cancel in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions — Skillshare can't do it for you.
Subscribed in the app?
If you signed up inside the Skillshare app on your phone, Apple or Google bills you, and only they can cancel it.
On an iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)
- Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap Skillshare, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.
Not listed there? Apple doesn’t bill you for it — use the steps above. If it’s listed under Expired, it’s already cancelled.
On Android (billed by Google Play)
- Open the Play Store and tap your profile picture.
- Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Tap Skillshare, then Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts.
Deleting the app on either phone does not cancel anything.
What happens after you cancel
You keep access until the end of the current billing period.
Refunds
Renewals aren't refunded. If you were charged after a 7-day trial, Skillshare's help pages describe a one-time refund if you contact Support within 48 hours and haven't used the service since.
Watch out for
- Deleting the app doesn't stop billing.
- On a trial? Cancel before it ends, on the same platform you started it on.
- Teams accounts follow your organisation's agreement — ask your admin or teamhelp@skillshare.com.
Make sure the charge really stops
Track Skillshare in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
