How to cancel Speechify Premium

Speechify Premium is cancelled in your web account's Settings under Cancel Subscription. App Store and Google Play subscriptions are cancelled there. Refunds are narrow.

Checked in October 2026 against Speechify Premium’s own help pages. Speechify Premium typically costs about €29 a month (€348 a year).

Cancel on the web

Sign in to your Speechify account on the web and open Settings.
Select Cancel Subscription.
Subscribed through Apple or Google? Cancel in that account's subscription settings.

Subscribed in the app?

If you signed up inside the Speechify Premium app on your phone, Apple or Google bills you, and only they can cancel it.

On an iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)

Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
Tap Subscriptions.
Tap Speechify Premium, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.

Not listed there? Apple doesn’t bill you for it — use the steps above. If it’s listed under Expired, it’s already cancelled.

On Android (billed by Google Play)

Open the Play Store and tap your profile picture.
Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
Tap Speechify Premium, then Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts.

Deleting the app on either phone does not cancel anything.

What happens after you cancel

Cancelling stops the next and later charges, and you keep Premium until your next billing date.

Refunds

No partial refunds, and cancelling mid-cycle doesn't earn one. Refunds are generally limited to a 7-day window, to fraud or to charges made in error; monthly, quarterly and discounted subscriptions aren't refundable. App Store refunds go through Apple.

Watch out for

Cancel through the same place you first subscribed — your Speechify account, Apple or Google.

Make sure the charge really stops

Track Speechify Premium in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
