How to cancel Stratechery

Stratechery subscriptions can be cancelled at any time by logging in at stratechery.com and cancelling your account. Unsubscribing from the emails doesn't cancel it.

What happens after you cancel

Stratechery's pages don't spell out when access ends — check your account after cancelling.

Refunds

Fees aren't refundable, other than a pro rata refund if a podcast you paid for ceases production.

Watch out for

Subscriptions renew automatically monthly or annually — cancel before the renewal.
The unsubscribe button in the emails doesn't cancel the paid account.
To have your data deleted, email admin@stratechery.com — it's deleted within 72 hours.

Make sure the charge really stops

Track Stratechery in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
