How to cancel Telegram Premium

Telegram Premium is cancelled where you bought it: in the Premium section of Telegram's settings, with Apple or Google, or by sending /stop to @PremiumBot.

Checked in October 2026 against Telegram Premium’s own help pages. Telegram Premium typically costs about €4.99 a month (€59.88 a year).

Cancel on the web

Open Telegram Settings → Telegram Premium and follow the cancellation steps.
Bought with your Apple ID: cancel in your Apple subscriptions. Google Play: Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
Bought through @PremiumBot: send it /stop.

Subscribed in the app?

If you signed up inside the Telegram Premium app on your phone, Apple or Google bills you, and only they can cancel it.

On an iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)

Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
Tap Subscriptions.
Tap Telegram Premium, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.

Not listed there? Apple doesn’t bill you for it — use the steps above. If it’s listed under Expired, it’s already cancelled.

On Android (billed by Google Play)

Open the Play Store and tap your profile picture.
Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
Tap Telegram Premium, then Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts.

Deleting the app on either phone does not cancel anything.

What happens after you cancel

Premium stays active until the end of the current billing period.

Refunds

No refund or credit for the remaining days of the period.

Watch out for

Uninstalling the app or deleting your account doesn't cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription.

Make sure the charge really stops

Track Telegram Premium in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
