How to cancel Udemy Personal Plan

Udemy Personal Plan is cancelled with Cancel subscription on your Subscriptions page. Refunds exist only where the law requires them, e.g. 14 days in the UK and most of Europe.

Checked in October 2026 against Udemy Personal Plan’s own help pages. Udemy Personal Plan typically costs about €19.99 a month (€239.88 a year).

Cancel on the web

  1. Sign in on udemy.com and open your Subscriptions page.
  2. Click Cancel subscription and confirm.
  3. Subscribed in the iOS or Android app? Cancel in that store.

Subscribed in the app?

If you signed up inside the Udemy Personal Plan app on your phone, Apple or Google bills you, and only they can cancel it.

On an iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)

  1. Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
  2. Tap Subscriptions.
  3. Tap Udemy Personal Plan, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.

Not listed there? Apple doesn’t bill you for it — use the steps above. If it’s listed under Expired, it’s already cancelled.

On Android (billed by Google Play)

  1. Open the Play Store and tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
  3. Tap Udemy Personal Plan, then Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts.

Deleting the app on either phone does not cancel anything.

What happens after you cancel

You keep the subscription content until the last day of the billing period.

Refunds

No refunds unless your country's law requires one — e.g. 14 days in the UK and most of Europe, 7 in Australia — counted from checkout, free trials included. App purchases are refunded by Apple or Google.

Watch out for

  • Cancel during a free trial to avoid being charged.
  • A refund also cancels the plan, and you lose courses received free through a promotion.

Make sure the charge really stops

Track Udemy Personal Plan in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
