How to cancel Affinity
Affinity by Canva runs on a Canva account, so you cancel the plan in Canva: Settings → Billing → your plan → Cancel plan.
Checked in October 2026 against Affinity’s own help pages. Affinity typically costs about €8.99 a year.
Cancel on the web
- Sign in to Canva and open Settings → Billing.
- Select your plan and choose Cancel plan.
- Watch for the confirmation email.
- Billed by Google Play, the App Store or PayPal? Cancel there.
Subscribed in the app?
If you signed up inside the Affinity app on your phone, Apple or Google bills you, and only they can cancel it.
On an iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)
- Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap Affinity, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.
Not listed there? Apple doesn’t bill you for it — use the steps above. If it’s listed under Expired, it’s already cancelled.
On Android (billed by Google Play)
- Open the Play Store and tap your profile picture.
- Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Tap Affinity, then Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts.
Deleting the app on either phone does not cancel anything.
Billed by someone else — PayPal? Cancel in that account, or ask them: Affinity can’t end a subscription it doesn’t bill.
What happens after you cancel
You keep paid features until the end of the current billing period. Your designs stay on Canva Free, and Affinity remains free with your Canva account.
Watch out for
- Uninstalling the app doesn't cancel anything.
- Still charged? Check whether you signed up under a different email, and whether you got a cancellation confirmation.
Cheaper than cancelling?
- Pause the plan for three months instead (not possible for App Store subscriptions).
Make sure the charge really stops
Track Affinity in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
