How to cancel Airtable
Airtable is cancelled per workspace by downgrading it to Free: workspace settings → Change plan → Choose free. Removing your card alone doesn't cancel it.
Checked in October 2026 against Airtable’s own help pages. Airtable typically costs about €20 a month (€240 a year).
Cancel on the web
- As the workspace owner open your account overview and select the workspace under Workspace settings.
- In the Workspace plan section click Change plan, then Choose free.
- Check the scheduled date in the Workspace plan section.
What happens after you cancel
The downgrade takes effect at the end of the billing cycle and you keep paid features until then. Your bases, tables, records and views stay; revision history drops to 2 weeks on Free.
Watch out for
- Each paid workspace has to be downgraded on its own.
- Removing your payment method on its own doesn't cancel the plan.
- Read the confirmation screen when downgrading a Business plan — Airtable's own pages disagree on what it removes.
- You can't change plans in the iOS or Android app; use a mobile browser.
- To delete your account, first move paid workspaces to Free.
Make sure the charge really stops
Track Airtable in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
