How to cancel Amazon Music Unlimited

Amazon Music Unlimited is cancelled in Amazon Music Settings on amazon.com. If you joined through Apple, Google or a phone carrier, cancel there instead.

Checked in October 2026 against Amazon Music Unlimited’s own help pages. Amazon Music Unlimited typically costs about €10.99 a month (€131.88 a year).

Cancel on the web

Sign in on amazon.com and open Amazon Music Settings.
In the Amazon Music Unlimited section, select Cancel next to Subscription Renewal.
Confirm the cancellation.
On an Echo or other Alexa device you can also say: “Alexa, cancel my Amazon Music Unlimited subscription.”

Subscribed in the app?

If you signed up inside the Amazon Music Unlimited app on your phone, Apple or Google bills you, and only they can cancel it.

On an iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)

Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
Tap Subscriptions.
Tap Amazon Music Unlimited, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.

Not listed there? Apple doesn’t bill you for it — use the steps above. If it’s listed under Expired, it’s already cancelled.

On Android (billed by Google Play)

Open the Play Store and tap your profile picture.
Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
Tap Amazon Music Unlimited, then Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts.

Deleting the app on either phone does not cancel anything.

Billed by someone else — phone carriers? Cancel in that account, or ask them: Amazon Music Unlimited can’t end a subscription it doesn’t bill.

What happens after you cancel

You can keep listening until the plan's end date. After that, songs you added to your library are greyed out and can't be played.

Refunds

Payments are non-refundable even if you didn't use the service. In the EU, the UK and Brazil you can withdraw within 14 days of signing up and get any fee back.

Watch out for

Amazon can't cancel or refund a subscription bought through Apple, Google or a phone carrier.
Amazon Music Unlimited is separate from Prime — cancelling one doesn't cancel the other.

Cheaper than cancelling?

Eligible monthly plans can be paused instead (not annual plans, trials, or plans billed by Apple, Google or a carrier).
Amazon Music Unlimited Family covers up to 6 people for about €16.99 a month.

Make sure the charge really stops

Track Amazon Music Unlimited in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
