How to cancel Disney+
Disney+ is cancelled from the Subscription section of your Disney+ account, on the web or in the app — unless a partner bills you.
Checked in October 2026 against Disney+’s own help pages. Disney+ typically costs about €9.99 a month (€119.88 a year).
Cancel on the web
- Sign in on disneyplus.com and open your profile → Account.
- Under Subscription, select your plan.
- Choose Cancel subscription and confirm.
Subscribed in the app?
If you signed up inside the Disney+ app on your phone, Apple or Google bills you, and only they can cancel it.
On an iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)
- Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap Disney+, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.
Not listed there? Apple doesn’t bill you for it — use the steps above. If it’s listed under Expired, it’s already cancelled.
On Android (billed by Google Play)
- Open the Play Store and tap your profile picture.
- Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Tap Disney+, then Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts.
Deleting the app on either phone does not cancel anything.
Billed by someone else — Amazon, phone providers and bundles? Cancel in that account, or ask them: Disney+ can’t end a subscription it doesn’t bill.
What happens after you cancel
The subscription ends at the close of the current billing period; you can watch until then. Your account, profiles and watchlist stay unless you delete the account too.
Watch out for
- Cancelling and deleting the account are separate: deleting removes profiles and watchlists for good.
- Signed up through Amazon, a phone provider or a bundle? Cancel with that partner — Disney+ can't do it for you.
Cheaper than cancelling?
- The plan with ads is a cheaper way to keep it.
- Disney+ Premium (4 screens) covers up to 4 people for about €13.99 a month — only for people who live together.
Make sure the charge really stops
Track Disney+ in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
