How to cancel AMC+
AMC+ bought directly is cancelled in your account on amcplus.com in a web browser. Through Amazon, Apple, Google Play, Roku or a TV provider, cancel there.
Checked in October 2026 against AMC+’s own help pages. AMC+ typically costs about €8.99 a month (€107.88 a year).
Cancel on the web
- Open amcplus.com/account in a web browser (not the app) and sign in.
- Select Subscription, then Cancel.
- Subscribed through a platform? Cancel in that platform — e.g. Amazon account → Amazon Channel Subscriptions → Cancel.
Subscribed in the app?
If you signed up inside the AMC+ app on your phone, Apple or Google bills you, and only they can cancel it.
On an iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)
- Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap AMC+, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.
Not listed there? Apple doesn’t bill you for it — use the steps above. If it’s listed under Expired, it’s already cancelled.
On Android (billed by Google Play)
- Open the Play Store and tap your profile picture.
- Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Tap AMC+, then Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts.
Deleting the app on either phone does not cancel anything.
Billed by someone else — Amazon, Roku and TV providers? Cancel in that account, or ask them: AMC+ can’t end a subscription it doesn’t bill.
What happens after you cancel
You keep access through the rest of the subscription term you've already paid for.
Watch out for
- Cancel before a free trial ends and nothing is charged.
- Subscribed through a cable or TV provider? Manage it in the provider's account, not AMC's.
- From 13 March 2026 existing subscribers pay the new rates on renewal.
Make sure the charge really stops
Track AMC+ in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
