How to cancel Apple TV+

Apple TV+ is cancelled on tv.apple.com or in Settings → Subscriptions — the same place every other Apple subscription is managed.

Checked in October 2026 against Apple TV+’s own help pages. Apple TV+ typically costs about €9.99 a month (€119.88 a year).

Cancel on the web

On the web: sign in at tv.apple.com with the Apple ID that pays, open the account icon → Settings → Subscriptions, and select Cancel Subscription.
On iPhone, iPad or Apple TV: open Settings → your name (Users and Accounts on an Apple TV) → Subscriptions → Apple TV+ → Cancel Subscription.

Subscribed in the app?

If you signed up inside the Apple TV+ app on your phone, Apple or Google bills you, and only they can cancel it.

On an iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)

Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
Tap Subscriptions.
Tap Apple TV+, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.

Not listed there? Apple doesn’t bill you for it — use the steps above. If it’s listed under Expired, it’s already cancelled.

On Android (billed by Google Play)

Open the Play Store and tap your profile picture.
Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
Tap Apple TV+, then Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts.

Deleting the app on either phone does not cancel anything.

What happens after you cancel

You keep Apple TV+ until the Expires date shown on the Subscriptions page; it then stops renewing. No Cancel button means it's already cancelled.

Refunds

Apple doesn't refund the unused part of a billing period.

Watch out for

Deleting the Apple TV app doesn't cancel the subscription.
Cancel a free trial at least 24 hours before it converts to a paid month.
Bought through a TV provider, Amazon or another reseller rather than Apple directly? Cancel with them instead.

Make sure the charge really stops

Track Apple TV+ in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
