How to cancel Calm

Calm bought on calm.com is cancelled from Manage Subscription in a browser; bought in the app, it's cancelled with Apple, Google Play or Samsung Health. Calm can't cancel store subscriptions for you.

Checked in October 2026 against Calm’s own help pages. Calm typically costs about €47.99 a year.

Cancel on the web

Sign in at calm.com in a browser and open Settings.
Select Manage Subscription, then Cancel.
The subscription should now show “Expires on” a date instead of “Renews on”.

Subscribed in the app?

If you signed up inside the Calm app on your phone, Apple or Google bills you, and only they can cancel it.

On an iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)

Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
Tap Subscriptions.
Tap Calm, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.

Not listed there? Apple doesn’t bill you for it — use the steps above. If it’s listed under Expired, it’s already cancelled.

On Android (billed by Google Play)

Open the Play Store and tap your profile picture.
Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
Tap Calm, then Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts.

Deleting the app on either phone does not cancel anything.

Billed by someone else — Samsung Health? Cancel in that account, or ask them: Calm can’t end a subscription it doesn’t bill.

What happens after you cancel

Calm Premium carries on until the end of the billing period, then doesn't renew.

Refunds

Calm.com purchases can be refunded in full within 30 days, through Calm's refund form while signed in. Lifetime, gift and Family plans aren't refundable. Bought through Apple? Ask Apple. Google Play purchases go through Calm Support. Cancelling alone never triggers a refund.

Watch out for

Cancel a free trial at least 24 hours before it ends, or the first year is charged — Calm is mostly sold yearly.
On a Family plan, only the Family Admin can cancel, and only on the website (Cancel Plan).
Bought through Samsung Health? Open Calm inside Samsung Health and cancel from its Subscription menu.
Uninstalling the app doesn't cancel anything.

Make sure the charge really stops

Track Calm in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
