How to cancel Headspace

Checked in October 2026 against Headspace’s own help pages. Headspace typically costs about €12.99 a month (€155.88 a year).

Cancel on the web

  1. Sign in on headspace.com in a browser (desktop or phone).
  2. Go to headspace.com/subscription/manage.
  3. Select Cancel membership and confirm. No option there? Email help@headspace.com.

Open headspace.com/subscription/manage ↗

Subscribed in the app?

If you signed up inside the Headspace app on your phone, Apple or Google bills you, and only they can cancel it.

On an iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)

  1. Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
  2. Tap Subscriptions.
  3. Tap Headspace, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.

Not listed there? Apple doesn’t bill you for it — use the steps above. If it’s listed under Expired, it’s already cancelled.

On Android (billed by Google Play)

  1. Open the Play Store and tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
  3. Tap Headspace, then Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts.

Deleting the app on either phone does not cancel anything.

What happens after you cancel

Auto-renewal stops; you keep Headspace until the end of the current billing period.

Refunds

Headspace offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on a first membership bought on its website; after that, website subscriptions aren't usually refunded.

Watch out for

  • On a Family plan, only the main account holder can cancel.
  • Got it bundled with Spotify? Cancel at spotify.com/account.
  • Cancel the renewal before deleting your account.

Cheaper than cancelling?

  • Headspace Family covers up to 6 people for about €99.99 a year.

Make sure the charge really stops

Track Headspace in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
