How to cancel CapCut Pro
CapCut Pro is cancelled on the platform you subscribed on — your Apple ID, Google account or CapCut account — at least 24 hours before it renews.
Checked in October 2026 against CapCut Pro’s own help pages. CapCut Pro typically costs about €9.99 a month (€119.88 a year).
Cancel on the web
- iPhone: Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions → CapCut → Cancel Subscription.
- Android: Google Play → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → CapCut → Cancel.
- Subscribed with your CapCut account? Cancel there.
Subscribed in the app?
If you signed up inside the CapCut Pro app on your phone, Apple or Google bills you, and only they can cancel it.
On an iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)
- Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap CapCut Pro, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.
Not listed there? Apple doesn’t bill you for it — use the steps above. If it’s listed under Expired, it’s already cancelled.
On Android (billed by Google Play)
- Open the Play Store and tap your profile picture.
- Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Tap CapCut Pro, then Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts.
Deleting the app on either phone does not cancel anything.
What happens after you cancel
You keep access until the current period ends, then drop to the free tier.
Refunds
CapCut generally treats subscriptions as virtual goods and doesn't refund. The terms mention a full refund if you cancel within 14 days of starting and haven't used Premium features; other cases such as double billing go through an appeal.
Watch out for
- Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date, or a new billing cycle is charged.
Make sure the charge really stops
Track CapCut Pro in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
