How to cancel ClickUp

ClickUp is cancelled by a Workspace owner or admin under Settings → Billing → Downgrade or Cancel plan. Annual plans need 30 days' notice before renewal.

Checked in October 2026 against ClickUp’s own help pages. ClickUp typically costs about €7 a month (€84 a year).

Cancel on the web

Click your Workspace avatar (upper left) and choose Settings.
Open Billing in the sidebar and select Downgrade or Cancel plan.
Choose the Free Forever plan and confirm.

What happens after you cancel

The change takes effect at the end of your billing cycle, and your data stays in the Workspace if you upgrade again. One ClickUp help page says a downgrade can apply immediately and remove features, so check the confirmation screen.

Refunds

A full refund is possible within 30 days of buying your first paid plan.

Watch out for

On annual plans, notice of a downgrade or cancellation must be given at least 30 days before the renewal date, or it renews for another twelve months.
Only a Workspace owner or admin can change the plan.

Make sure the charge really stops

Track ClickUp in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
