How to cancel Cloudflare Registrar
A Cloudflare Registrar domain stops renewing when you turn off its Auto-renew toggle on the Manage domains page — at least 30 days before it expires.
Checked in October 2026 against Cloudflare Registrar’s own help pages. Cloudflare Registrar typically costs about €10 a year.
Cancel on the web
- In the Cloudflare dashboard open Manage domains and find the domain.
- Switch the Auto-renew toggle off.
- Check the setting on the domain's page afterwards.
What happens after you cancel
The domain stays registered until its expiration date and then isn't renewed. You can turn auto-renew back on any time before then.
Watch out for
- The first auto-renew attempt is about 30 days before expiry, so disable it at least 30 days ahead.
- To delete the domain from Cloudflare, disable auto-renew first.
- Check the status on each domain's page after making the change.
Make sure the charge really stops
Track Cloudflare Registrar in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
