How to cancel Crunchyroll
Crunchyroll Premium paid on crunchyroll.com is cancelled from Membership Info in your account settings, in a browser. If an app store, Amazon, Roku or another partner bills you, cancel with them instead.
Checked in October 2026 against Crunchyroll’s own help pages. Crunchyroll typically costs about €6.49 a month (€77.88 a year).
Cancel on the web
- Sign in at crunchyroll.com in a browser.
- Open your profile menu → Settings → Membership Info.
- Cancel the membership there, past the offers to stay, and check the page now shows the date your Premium ends.
Subscribed in the app?
If you signed up inside the Crunchyroll app on your phone, Apple or Google bills you, and only they can cancel it.
On an iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)
- Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap Crunchyroll, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.
Not listed there? Apple doesn’t bill you for it — use the steps above. If it’s listed under Expired, it’s already cancelled.
On Android (billed by Google Play)
- Open the Play Store and tap your profile picture.
- Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Tap Crunchyroll, then Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts.
Deleting the app on either phone does not cancel anything.
Billed by someone else — the Apple TV Channel, Amazon Prime Video Channels, Roku and Yango Play? Cancel in that account, or ask them: Crunchyroll can’t end a subscription it doesn’t bill.
What happens after you cancel
Premium carries on until the end of the period you've paid for; the account itself stays, as a free one, with your watchlist and history.
Refunds
Memberships are digital goods Crunchyroll doesn't normally refund. Living in the EEA or the UK, you may cancel within 14 days of buying and ask for a refund through a Help Center ticket. Billed by Apple, Google or another partner? Refunds go through them.
Watch out for
- No cancel option in the app or on the site usually means a partner bills you — Apple, Google Play, the Apple TV Channel, Amazon, Roku or Yango Play — and only they can cancel it.
- “You may not cancel your membership at this time” means a payment is still pending; it can last a few days, and Crunchyroll Support can cancel it for you meanwhile.
Make sure the charge really stops
Track Crunchyroll in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
