How to cancel Curiosity Stream

Checked in October 2026 against Curiosity Stream’s own help pages. Curiosity Stream typically costs about €4.17 a year.

Cancel on the web

  1. Sign in on curiositystream.com and open your account page.
  2. Under Plan and Payment select Manage Plan, then Cancel Plan (top right).
  3. Roku: press the Star button → Manage subscription → Cancel subscription.
  4. Amazon: Appstore Subscriptions → Curiosity Stream → turn off auto-renewal.

Subscribed in the app?

If you signed up inside the Curiosity Stream app on your phone, Apple or Google bills you, and only they can cancel it.

On an iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)

  1. Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
  2. Tap Subscriptions.
  3. Tap Curiosity Stream, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.

Not listed there? Apple doesn’t bill you for it — use the steps above. If it’s listed under Expired, it’s already cancelled.

On Android (billed by Google Play)

  1. Open the Play Store and tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
  3. Tap Curiosity Stream, then Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts.

Deleting the app on either phone does not cancel anything.

Billed by someone else — Roku and Amazon? Cancel in that account, or ask them: Curiosity Stream can’t end a subscription it doesn’t bill.

What happens after you cancel

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep access until then.

Refunds

No refunds unless stated at the time of cancellation.

Watch out for

  • Not sure who bills you? Check your bank statement first.
  • You can also cancel by emailing help@curiositystream.com.

Make sure the charge really stops

Track Curiosity Stream in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
