How to cancel Cursor Pro

Cursor Pro is cancelled from the web dashboard: open Billing, go to the Stripe billing portal and choose Cancel Subscription.

Checked in October 2026 against Cursor Pro’s own help pages. Cursor Pro typically costs about €20 a month (€240 a year).

Cancel on the web

Sign in to your Cursor dashboard on the web and open Billing.
Select Manage in Stripe (older versions say Manage Subscription).
Choose Cancel Subscription and confirm.

Subscribed in the app?

If you signed up inside the Cursor Pro app on your phone, Apple or Google bills you, and only they can cancel it.

On an iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)

Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
Tap Subscriptions.
Tap Cursor Pro, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.

Not listed there? Apple doesn’t bill you for it — use the steps above. If it’s listed under Expired, it’s already cancelled.

On Android (billed by Google Play)

Open the Play Store and tap your profile picture.
Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
Tap Cursor Pro, then Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts.

Deleting the app on either phone does not cancel anything.

What happens after you cancel

You keep your paid plan's features until the end of the current billing period and aren't charged again.

Watch out for

An account on the free Hobby plan has no subscription to cancel.
An unpaid invoice can block changes until it's paid.
On a team, only the admin can see billing options.
A subscription bought through the iOS app is managed by Apple — Cursor can't cancel it.

Cheaper than cancelling?

Schedule a downgrade to a cheaper plan instead of cancelling.

Make sure the charge really stops

Track Cursor Pro in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
