How to cancel Dashlane

Dashlane paid by card on its website is cancelled in the web app under Subscription. Request the refund on the same screen if you're within 30 days.

Checked in October 2026 against Dashlane’s own help pages. Dashlane typically costs about €4.99 a month (€59.88 a year).

Cancel on the web

Open Dashlane in a computer browser (not the mobile or macOS app).
From the Vault menu choose Subscription, then cancel in the right panel.
Within 30 days of buying? Select Request refund before leaving the page.

Subscribed in the app?

If you signed up inside the Dashlane app on your phone, Apple or Google bills you, and only they can cancel it.

On an iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)

Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
Tap Subscriptions.
Tap Dashlane, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.

Not listed there? Apple doesn’t bill you for it — use the steps above. If it’s listed under Expired, it’s already cancelled.

On Android (billed by Google Play)

Open the Play Store and tap your profile picture.
Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
Tap Dashlane, then Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts.

Deleting the app on either phone does not cancel anything.

Billed by someone else — PayPal? Cancel in that account, or ask them: Dashlane can’t end a subscription it doesn’t bill.

What happens after you cancel

You keep your plan until the end of the billing period; auto-renewal is switched off.

Refunds

Full refund within 30 days of buying, back to your card in 3–5 business days. PayPal purchases: contact Dashlane chat with the PayPal invoice number. Apple purchases are refunded by Apple.

Paid through Google Play, Apple or PayPal? Cancel with that provider.

Make sure the charge really stops

Track Dashlane in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
