How to cancel Deezer

Deezer is cancelled in your account's subscription settings, on the website or in the app — at least 48 hours before it renews, or the next month is charged.

Checked in October 2026 against Deezer’s own help pages. Deezer typically costs about €11.99 a month (€143.88 a year).

Cancel on the web

Sign in on deezer.com or open the app, and go to your profile icon → Settings (Account settings on the web).
Open the subscription section (Manage my subscription, or Plan management → Subscription details & invoices in the app).
Select Cancel, give a reason and confirm.
Look for the confirmation email; the subscription settings also show the new status.

Subscribed in the app?

If you signed up inside the Deezer app on your phone, Apple or Google bills you, and only they can cancel it.

On an iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)

Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
Tap Subscriptions.
Tap Deezer, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.

Not listed there? Apple doesn’t bill you for it — use the steps above. If it’s listed under Expired, it’s already cancelled.

On Android (billed by Google Play)

Open the Play Store and tap your profile picture.
Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
Tap Deezer, then Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts.

Deleting the app on either phone does not cancel anything.

Billed by someone else — phone and internet providers such as Orange and TIM? Cancel in that account, or ask them: Deezer can’t end a subscription it doesn’t bill.

What happens after you cancel

Premium features stay until the end of the period you've paid for, then the account reverts to Deezer Free — playlists and favourites stay, but downloaded music can't be played offline any more. Cancelling Family suspends its profiles; independent members' accounts go back to Deezer Free with their favourites intact.

Refunds

Deezer's terms don't allow refunds, which is why it asks you to cancel 48 hours before the renewal date.

Watch out for

Subscriptions renew unless cancelled 48 hours before the renewal date — leave it to the last day and the next month is charged.
Subscribed through Apple, Google Play or a phone or internet provider? Cancel with them; Deezer can't do it for you.
Still charged? Check for a second Deezer account, an unfinished cancellation, or a partner that hasn't processed it yet.
On Family, only the plan's owner can cancel it or remove members.

Cheaper than cancelling?

Duo or Family costs less per person if someone at home pays for Deezer too.
Deezer Duo covers up to 2 people for about €15.99 a month.
Deezer Family covers up to 6 people for about €19.99 a month.

Make sure the charge really stops

Track Deezer in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
