How to cancel EA Play
EA Play is cancelled where you joined: in your EA Account on PC, or in your PlayStation or Microsoft account on console. Steam and Epic members go through those stores.
Checked in October 2026 against EA Play’s own help pages. EA Play typically costs about €3.99 a month (€47.88 a year).
Cancel on the web
- PC (EA app): sign in to your EA Account → Subscriptions and Memberships → Cancel membership, then confirm.
- PlayStation: turn off auto-renew in your PlayStation subscription settings.
- Xbox: go to account.microsoft.com → Services & subscriptions and manage EA Play there.
- Joined through Steam or Epic: cancel there and contact their support if it fails.

Billed by someone else — PlayStation, Xbox, Steam and Epic? Cancel in that account, or ask them: EA Play can’t end a subscription it doesn’t bill.
What happens after you cancel
On PC you keep EA Play until the next billing date. On console it ends when the current period runs out.
Watch out for
- To end it immediately on console, you have to ask PlayStation or Xbox Support.
Make sure the charge really stops
Track EA Play in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
