How to cancel Figma

A Figma Professional plan is cancelled in the team's Admin → Settings → Cancel plan. The team drops to the free Starter plan at the end of the billing cycle.

Checked in October 2026 against Figma’s own help pages. Figma typically costs about €15 a month (€180 a year).

Cancel on the web

In the browser or desktop app, find the Professional team in the file browser sidebar.
Open Admin → Settings, and in the Plan section choose Cancel plan.
Confirm.

What happens after you cancel

You keep Professional features until the end of the billing cycle, then the team becomes a Starter team with its file limits.

Refunds

Figma subscription payments are non-refundable.

Watch out for

Organization and Enterprise plans are downgraded through Figma support.
Want to delete your account? Cancel the paid plan first.
Plugin subscriptions are separate and aren't refunded when cancelled.

Make sure the charge really stops

Track Figma in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
