How to cancel GeForce NOW
GeForce NOW isn't cancelled as such: you change the paid membership to the free one at account.nvidia.com, at least 24 hours before the next billing cycle.
Checked in October 2026 against GeForce NOW’s own help pages. GeForce NOW typically costs about €17.99 a month (€215.88 a year).
Cancel on the web
- Sign in at account.nvidia.com (or in the app: Settings → GeForce NOW Membership).
- Change your paid membership to the free membership.
- Allow up to 24 hours for the change to show.
Billed by someone else — Amazon? Cancel in that account, or ask them: GeForce NOW can’t end a subscription it doesn’t bill.
What happens after you cancel
Billing stops from the next cycle. Saved games stay, but on the free tier they're deleted after 6 months of inactivity.
Watch out for
- Subscribed through Amazon? Make the change in your Amazon account.
- Founders members lose the “Founders for Life” benefit for good on any downgrade.
- Deleting your NVIDIA account also ends other services tied to it — changing the plan is enough.
Make sure the charge really stops
Track GeForce NOW in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
