How to cancel Google Play Pass
Google Play Pass is cancelled in the Play Store: profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Play Pass → Cancel subscription.
Checked in October 2026 against Google Play Pass’s own help pages. Google Play Pass typically costs about €4.99 a month (€59.88 a year).
Cancel on the web
- Open the Play Store app and tap your profile picture.
- Go to Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Play Pass.
- Tap Cancel subscription. (On a computer: play.google.com → the subscription → Manage → Cancel subscription.)
What happens after you cancel
You keep Play Pass until the end of the period you've paid for. Installed apps stay, but in-app purchases unlocked by Play Pass are removed and ads can come back.
Refunds
Cancel within the first 48 hours of a monthly subscription and ask for a refund, and that month may be refunded.
Watch out for
- Uninstalling Play Pass apps doesn't cancel the subscription.
- On a family plan, only the family manager can cancel, and it ends for everyone.
Make sure the charge really stops
Track Google Play Pass in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
