How to cancel hayu

hayu bought directly is cancelled at hayu.com/user/subscriptions with the Cancel Subscription button. Through Apple, Google Play, Sky, Amazon or Fetch TV, cancel there.

Checked in October 2026 against hayu’s own help pages. hayu typically costs about €5.99 a month (€71.88 a year).

Cancel on the web

  1. Sign in on hayu.com and open hayu.com/user/subscriptions.
  2. Press Cancel Subscription.
  3. Apple: turn off Automatic Renewal for hayu in your subscriptions. Google Play: your subscriptions → hayu → Cancel Subscription.
  4. Sky: My Shop → My Products on your Sky device. Amazon Appstore: amazon.com/appstoresubscriptions. Fetch TV: hayu.com → Payment Details → Cancel.

Subscribed in the app?

If you signed up inside the hayu app on your phone, Apple or Google bills you, and only they can cancel it.

On an iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)

  1. Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
  2. Tap Subscriptions.
  3. Tap hayu, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.

Not listed there? Apple doesn’t bill you for it — use the steps above. If it’s listed under Expired, it’s already cancelled.

On Android (billed by Google Play)

  1. Open the Play Store and tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
  3. Tap hayu, then Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts.

Deleting the app on either phone does not cancel anything.

Billed by someone else — Sky, Fetch TV and Amazon? Cancel in that account, or ask them: hayu can’t end a subscription it doesn’t bill.

What happens after you cancel

You keep access until the end of your current subscription period and aren't charged for the next one. Cancel during a free trial and access lasts until the trial ends, with no charge.

Watch out for

  • hayu can't unsubscribe you on Kindle Fire or other partner platforms for security reasons — you do it in their account.

Make sure the charge really stops

Track hayu in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
