How to cancel Hulu

Hulu is cancelled from your account page on hulu.com, not in the app. If a partner bills you — the Disney Bundle, Amazon, Roku, T-Mobile — cancel there instead.

Checked in October 2026 against Hulu’s own help pages. Hulu typically costs about €9.99 a month (€119.88 a year).

Cancel on the web

Sign in at hulu.com and open your account page, or go straight to secure.hulu.com/account/cancel.
Select Cancel Your Subscription under Your Subscription.
Go past the offers to pause or switch plans, choosing Continue to Cancel.
Keep the confirmation email.

Subscribed in the app?

If you signed up inside the Hulu app on your phone, Apple or Google bills you, and only they can cancel it.

On an iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)

Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
Tap Subscriptions.
Tap Hulu, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.

Not listed there? Apple doesn’t bill you for it — use the steps above. If it’s listed under Expired, it’s already cancelled.

On Android (billed by Google Play)

Open the Play Store and tap your profile picture.
Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
Tap Hulu, then Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts.

Deleting the app on either phone does not cancel anything.

Billed by someone else — the Disney Bundle, Amazon, Roku, T-Mobile and Spotify? Cancel in that account, or ask them: Hulu can’t end a subscription it doesn’t bill.

What happens after you cancel

You keep Hulu until the end of the billing period you've already paid for; the account page then shows the subscription as cancelled.

Refunds

Hulu doesn't refund the unused part of the current billing period.

Watch out for

A greyed-out or missing Cancel option usually means a partner bills you — Disney Bundle, Amazon, Roku, T-Mobile or an app store.
On the Disney Bundle, cancelling Hulu alone doesn't cancel Disney+ or ESPN+, or the other way round.
Bundled through Spotify Premium? Deactivate Hulu from your Spotify account page — cancelling one doesn't cancel the other.

Cheaper than cancelling?

The plan with ads costs less than ad-free Hulu.

Make sure the charge really stops

Track Hulu in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
