How to cancel Loom
Loom is cancelled by downgrading to the free Starter plan in Workspace Settings → Plan & Billing. If your Loom is managed by Atlassian, an Atlassian admin cancels it.
Checked in October 2026 against Loom’s own help pages. Loom typically costs about €12.50 a month (€150 a year).
Cancel on the web
- Open Workspace Settings → Plan & Billing → Manage Subscription.
- Choose the downgrade to Starter and complete the cancellation.
- Linked to Atlassian (your Personal Settings say so)? An Atlassian billing or organization admin deactivates Loom in the Atlassian Admin portal → Billing.
What happens after you cancel
Premium features last to the end of the billing cycle and you aren't charged at renewal. Starter allows 25 videos and drops custom branding.
Watch out for
- Added or upgraded a user since your last bill? That's charged the day you cancel.
- Changed your mind? Select Cancel my downgrade under Manage Subscription.
Make sure the charge really stops
Track Loom in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
