How to cancel Malwarebytes Premium
Malwarebytes Premium is stopped by turning off auto-renewal in your Malwarebytes account under Billing & payment. Phone subscriptions are cancelled in the app store.
Checked in October 2026 against Malwarebytes Premium’s own help pages. Malwarebytes Premium typically costs about €44.99 a year.
Cancel on the web
- Sign in to your Malwarebytes account and open the subscription section in the sidebar.
- Click Billing & payment next to the subscription, then Edit auto-renewal on the Billing information tab.
- Pick a reason and confirm; a confirmation email follows.

Subscribed in the app?
If you signed up inside the Malwarebytes Premium app on your phone, Apple or Google bills you, and only they can cancel it.
On an iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)
- Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap Malwarebytes Premium, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.
Not listed there? Apple doesn’t bill you for it — use the steps above. If it’s listed under Expired, it’s already cancelled.
On Android (billed by Google Play)
- Open the Play Store and tap your profile picture.
- Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Tap Malwarebytes Premium, then Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts.
Deleting the app on either phone does not cancel anything.
Billed by someone else — Cleverbridge and 2Checkout? Cancel in that account, or ask them: Malwarebytes Premium can’t end a subscription it doesn’t bill.
What happens after you cancel
The subscription stays active until its expiration date.
Watch out for
- Older purchases may be billed by a partner (Cleverbridge or 2Checkout) — use the Manage Subscription link in your original order email, or contact them.
- Android and iOS subscriptions are cancelled in Google Play or the App Store.
Make sure the charge really stops
Track Malwarebytes Premium in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
