How to cancel McAfee Total Protection
McAfee Total Protection is stopped by turning off auto-renewal under Account → Auto-Renewal Settings in My Account. Annual plans bought from McAfee can be refunded within 30 days of purchase or 60 days of renewal.

Cancel on the web
- Sign in to My Account on mcafee.com.
- At the top, select Account, then Auto-Renewal Settings.
- Follow the on-screen steps to turn auto-renewal off.
What happens after you cancel
Protection lasts until the end of the paid term. Turning off auto-renewal ends extra benefits tied to it.
Refunds
Annual subscriptions bought directly from McAfee: full refund on request within 30 days of the initial purchase or 60 days of an auto-renewal, with proof of purchase. No partial refunds, and the guarantee doesn't cover monthly plans.
