How to cancel Microsoft 365 Premium
Microsoft 365 Premium bought from Microsoft is stopped at account.microsoft.com/services by turning off recurring billing or cancelling. App store and retailer purchases are cancelled with the seller.
Checked in October 2026 against Microsoft 365 Premium’s own help pages. Microsoft 365 Premium typically costs about €19.99 a month (€239.88 a year).
Cancel on the web
- Sign in at account.microsoft.com/services with the account that bought it and find the subscription.
- Select Manage, then Turn off recurring billing — or open the Microsoft 365 subscription and choose Cancel subscription.
- Pick “I don't want my subscription” and follow the prompts.

Subscribed in the app?
If you signed up inside the Microsoft 365 Premium app on your phone, Apple or Google bills you, and only they can cancel it.
On an iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)
- Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap Microsoft 365 Premium, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.
Not listed there? Apple doesn’t bill you for it — use the steps above. If it’s listed under Expired, it’s already cancelled.
On Android (billed by Google Play)
- Open the Play Store and tap your profile picture.
- Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Tap Microsoft 365 Premium, then Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts.
Deleting the app on either phone does not cancel anything.
What happens after you cancel
You keep using the subscription until the expiry date. If the page shows Turn on recurring billing, it's already set to end and won't be charged again.
Refunds
Microsoft 365 refunds are available within 30 days of the initial purchase or before the first recurring billing date, whichever comes first. You have to cancel first to check eligibility.
Watch out for
- Bought through Apple, Google Play or a retailer? Microsoft can't cancel it — contact the seller.
Make sure the charge really stops
Track Microsoft 365 Premium in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
