How to cancel Miro
Miro is cancelled in the Admin console → Billing → Cancel subscription, by an admin or billing admin. Boards stay, but private boards can lock on the Free plan.
Checked in October 2026 against Miro’s own help pages. Miro typically costs about €8 a month (€96 a year).
Cancel on the web
- As an admin or billing admin, open the Admin console → Billing.
- Select Cancel subscription and confirm.
- When the plan expires, you're asked to pick a plan — choose Free and click Downgrade.
What happens after you cancel
Paid features last until the end of the billing period. Boards aren't deleted but become view-only until you reactivate or move to Free; on Free, private boards may be locked and several teams are merged into one.
Watch out for
- You may get one more prorated invoice for seats added during the billing period.
- Cancelled before paying the first invoice? The team moves to Free immediately.
Make sure the charge really stops
Track Miro in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
