How to cancel MyFitnessPal

Checked in October 2026 against MyFitnessPal’s own help pages. MyFitnessPal typically costs about €19.99 a month (€239.88 a year).

Cancel on the web

  1. Paid on the website: sign in at myfitnesspal.com → Settings → Subscription Settings, and switch Auto-Renewal from On to Off.
  2. Paid in the iPhone app: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → MyFitnessPal → Cancel Subscription.
  3. Paid on Android: Play Store → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → MyFitnessPal → Cancel Subscription.

Subscribed in the app?

If you signed up inside the MyFitnessPal app on your phone, Apple or Google bills you, and only they can cancel it.

On an iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)

  1. Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
  2. Tap Subscriptions.
  3. Tap MyFitnessPal, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.

Not listed there? Apple doesn’t bill you for it — use the steps above. If it’s listed under Expired, it’s already cancelled.

On Android (billed by Google Play)

  1. Open the Play Store and tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
  3. Tap MyFitnessPal, then Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts.

Deleting the app on either phone does not cancel anything.

What happens after you cancel

Premium features stay until the end of the paid period. Cancel more than 24 hours before renewal, or it may still renew.

Refunds

Purchases are final and non-refundable except at MyFitnessPal's discretion; App Store refunds go through Apple.

Watch out for

  • Deleting the app — or even your account — may not cancel the subscription.
  • Cancel on the same platform you paid on; MyFitnessPal can't end an Apple or Google subscription for you.

Make sure the charge really stops

Track MyFitnessPal in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
