How to cancel Notion AI

Notion AI is an add-on removed by the workspace owner in Settings → Billing → Additional features → Notion AI → Remove from plan.

Checked in October 2026 against Notion AI’s own help pages. Notion AI typically costs about €8 a month (€96 a year).

Cancel on the web

  1. As the workspace owner open Settings in the sidebar → Billing.
  2. Under Additional features find Notion AI and select Remove from plan.
  3. Bought through Apple or Google? Cancel with that store instead.

Subscribed in the app?

If you signed up inside the Notion AI app on your phone, Apple or Google bills you, and only they can cancel it.

On an iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)

  1. Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
  2. Tap Subscriptions.
  3. Tap Notion AI, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.

Not listed there? Apple doesn’t bill you for it — use the steps above. If it’s listed under Expired, it’s already cancelled.

On Android (billed by Google Play)

  1. Open the Play Store and tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
  3. Tap Notion AI, then Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts.

Deleting the app on either phone does not cancel anything.

What happens after you cancel

The add-on's access continues through the current billing cycle and ends at the start of the next one.

Refunds

Notion's refund policy covers a full refund within 3 days of a monthly invoice or 30 days of an annual one.

Watch out for

  • Only a workspace owner can remove it.
  • Notion's help page for this is old — pricing and menu labels may have changed.

Make sure the charge really stops

Track Notion AI in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
