How to cancel NOW

A NOW membership is cancelled on the NOW website in My Account → Membership & Payment — not in the app. Minimum-term plans run to the end of the term.

Checked in October 2026 against NOW’s own help pages. NOW typically costs about €9.99 a month (€119.88 a year).

Cancel on the web

Sign in on the NOW website (a computer or tablet works best) and open My Account → Membership & Payment.
Pick the membership and choose Cancel membership.
Repeat for each membership — and each NOW account — you have.

Subscribed in the app?

If you signed up inside the NOW app on your phone, Apple or Google bills you, and only they can cancel it.

On an iPhone or iPad (billed by Apple)

Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
Tap Subscriptions.
Tap NOW, then Cancel Subscription, and confirm.

Not listed there? Apple doesn’t bill you for it — use the steps above. If it’s listed under Expired, it’s already cancelled.

On Android (billed by Google Play)

Open the Play Store and tap your profile picture.
Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
Tap NOW, then Cancel subscription, and follow the prompts.

Deleting the app on either phone does not cancel anything.

Billed by someone else — EE TV and Amazon? Cancel in that account, or ask them: NOW can’t end a subscription it doesn’t bill.

What happens after you cancel

A confirmation email arrives within 3 hours, and you keep access until your next payment date.

Refunds

Refunds aren't normally given, as the membership can be cancelled any time.

Watch out for

On a minimum-term plan, cancelling only takes effect when the term ends, and payments continue until then.
Paying through EE TV, Apple or Amazon? Cancel with them.
A Sports Day Membership can't be cancelled once bought.

Make sure the charge really stops

Track NOW in Cancely and mark it cancelled: the day before it would have renewed, you get a reminder to check your statement — so a cancellation that didn’t take doesn’t cost you another month.
